I came into Health and Social care in 2000 where I started as a support worker and in the course of the years, I have managed several services in the community and have now become a registered manager. It has been a challenging but rewarding role in seeing people achieving their goals and dreams and how I have impacted the lives of my services users and staff positively. I have impacted a lot of services with my experience and professionalism. I believe no bridge should be crossed alone. Building an efficient and effective team has been my priority, coupled with effective communication as a bedrock of providing a safe, caring, effective, responsive and well-led organisation. I strongly believe that the workforce of an organisation are the greatest asset in delivering an effective and safe service, happy staff, happy service. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and family life.

LESLEY BOYLAND, Business Relationship Manager

I am passionate about providing critical operations performance to support informed decision making for service users. I have worked in the Health and Social Care field for over 30 years as a home manager, Quality assurance officer, Regional Director and Operation Director.
In my spare time, I enjoy baking with my lovely grandchildren and looking after my dogs and horses.

MIKE GREEN, Registered Nurse RNLD

I have been a registered Learning Disabilities Nurse for more than 20 years. I became involved all those years ago almost by chance when some friends invited me to come and help out at a weekly social club for young adults with learning disabilities. I immediately felt at home and enjoyed my time becoming involved with all the participants and their families. The rest as they say ‘is history’. I completed my nurse training and for the next 20 years+, have worked in a variety of NHS and private care settings. I continue to enjoy my involvement and am passionate about helping and maintaining a very person-focused care approach within my Vivid Care role.

I was formally a Builder and a mechanical engineer. My hobbies still include building and construction, engineering, a love of all things mechanical and going on motorcycling touring holidays, often abroad. I also love completing a crossword every day.

BOLA OTUSANYA, Service Manager, Vivid Community Care in Manchester

I am a qualified experienced health and social care professional with over 15 years of experience working in Health and Social care sector. My experiences have been diverse, having worked with adults and children with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours, mental health, acquired brain injury, dementia, and complex health needs both in the community and hospital-based.

During my work experience I have developed skills in mentoring, coaching, positive behaviour management, de-escalation, diversion and training and I have made numerous contributions to improve on the quality of service I work with.

At Vivid Community Care I oversee the North West Area Service, ensuring that all aspects of care provided is of a high standard – dealing with customers and carers alike. I manage the carer services team that do a great job at looking after our carers' scheduling and placements, seeing positivity spread across the region.

I get a thrill in supporting to solve problems for people, enabling them to live an independent life. I am passionate and committed to this ethos and I recognise that in my privileged role I am able to drive change and best practice, thereby supporting to deliver the best person-centred high-quality care we all aspire to.

Among other qualifications I hold a Masters Degree in Public Health from Liverpool John Moores University, Level 5 Diploma in Health and social care, Level 3 in Advice and Guidance. I enjoy socialising, meeting people and travelling.

MATHIAS EDOH, System Administrator and Media Specialist

I enjoy working with a diverse range of people and I try to do what I can to make things easier. I have received the High Sheriff Award of Suffolk 2007-2008 in recognition and appreciation of the positive contribution I have made to the local community. I have worked as a Technical/Media Instructor at Carshalton College, London for many years then moved on to becoming a Learning Technologist at the London School of Economics and a Technical Instructor/Media Specialist at the Royal College of Art, the world's top university in Art and Design. I am a fan of aeronautics and during my spare time, I enjoy engineering 3D printed electronic models and building small robots or drones. I am happy to be managing the Technology and Media department of Vivid Community Care.
